Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Weems has over 10
years experience working for many large and small semiconductor
design companies. Prior to founding Thyme, Mr. Weems developed
and supported microprocessor design methodologies for start-up
Exponential and for IBM Somerset division. He also has experience
in microprocessor design and programming. Mr. Weems holds BS
and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from The University
of Texas at Austin. In his Master's Thesis he developed new
geometric techniques for analyzing and optimizing workflow management
and job scheduling problems.
John
Watters, Senior Staff Consultant
Senior Staff Consultant, Mr. Watters
has over 15 years of design, management, and consulting experience
in the semiconductor design industry. For Analog Devices, he
built and directed a start-up organization with hardware and
software product groups. He also held management positions at
Compaq and GE, and has consulted and developed training classes
for Synopsys. Mr. Watters holds BS and MS degrees in Electrical
Engineering from Syracuse University.
Wayne
Walker, Senior Staff Consultant
Senior Staff Consultant, Mr. Walker
has over 10 years of experience in programming and Unix system
administration. Prior to joining Thyme, he was an independent
consultant teaching classes on Linux system administration and
networking. He has also worked for a number of small start-up
companies and has held technical positions at Tivoli Systems
and Motorola. He also served as a radar and avionics technician
for the United States Army and Air Force. Mr. Walker has taught
Unix classes at the University of Texas at Arlington and received
his education in Computer Science and Mathematics from Tarrant
County Junior College and the University of Maryland.
Julie
Holden, Information Developer
Information Developer, Ms. Holden
has over 8 years experience in the technical publications field.
She has worked for several software companies, including BMC
Software, MIP, and Foresight Systems. At BMC, she was on the
design team that created the HTML Help system for Change Manager.
Her prior experience also includes the creation and maintenance
of User Manuals, Reference Manuals, WinHelp systems, websites,
and marketing materials for a variety of software products.
Ms. Holden holds BA and MA degrees in English from Texas A&M
University.
Kathrin
Brewer, Director of Sales and Marketing
Director of Sales and Marketing,
Kathrin Brewer has been a leader at AMD, Motorola, and small
startups for over 10 years. Her expertise includes systems integration,
technology transfer, test, process and product engineering.
Most recently, as an engineering manager at AMD, Kathrin assembled
teams and led efforts to automate equipment control and data
collection for process and test equipment, expand lot level
handling and tracking to single items, and to automate bit-mapping.
Ms. Brewer holds a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from UC-Berkeley.
